Manalonga
Extra virgin olive oil from a special cru featuring medium and bitter fruitiness. Higher category oil obtained directly from olives  by mechanical processes.
Benevento is a land of witches, Sabbath, banquets and devilries. Manalonga is the spirit of wells that will catch you and pull you down as soon as you lean into it.

The plot of land
The olive groves are located in Benevento in the district "La Francesca, a few kilometers from the center of the town. The position is slightly slope, thus avoiding water stagnation. The exposure is south and allows the soil to heat gradually, with
abundant insolation thanks to the heat that lasts for a long time even after dark.
The orientation of the rows it is north / south.
The texture of the plot is fine, looks very loose, with prevalence of silt and diffuse rocks outcropping and stone chips. There are 10 native varieties of Sannio and 20 other allochthonous, with a prevalence of Femminella and Ortolana.


Organoleptic description
Medium intensity green olive fruitiness with evident notes of freshly mown grass, celery, wild herbs and unripe tomato.
Initially the taste is sweet, with references to red fruits, then the pasta is characterized by a polite bitterness reminiscent of artichoke and a spicy finish that recalls ginger.
The olfactory / gustatory balance is excellent, it turns out the progression of sweet, bitter is very correct and spicy on the palate.
