VPE (a company of Veronafiere S.p.A. and Fiere di Parma S.p.A.) enters at 50% of the shares in Bellavita Expo , a British company organising trade shows for the promotion of Italian Food & Beverage in seven markets: UK, USA, Canada, Mexico, the Netherlands, Poland and Thailand.

Bellavita Expo was established five years ago and is rapidly growing as a dynamic platform aimed at Italian companies looking to open new export channels worldwide . Bellavita’s mission is to bring the excellence of Italy to local buyers, importers, distributors and restaurateurs; in addition Bellavita offers a space for discussion and education on the latest trends in Italian cuisine and products thanks to an interesting programme of talks and workshops with starred chefs and experts.

“Bellavita educates buyers worldwide on Italian F&B;, starting from the place of origin through to the ingredients and the philosophy behind each product” says Aldo Mazzocco, CEO of Bellavita . “This joint venture with VPE represents the first truly international hub for the promotion of Made in Italy F&B; and it is a concrete answer to the growing demands of Italian SMEs looking to open new business channels abroad.”

Bellavita London 2018, taking place at the Business Design Centre from 17 to 19 June, will launch the new format of the trade show, where Cibus and Vinitaly will expand the range of food products and wines by introducing a new selection of iconic Italian brands to the event.

“This operation is particularly directed at the clients of Cibus, Vinitaly and Sol&Agrifood; ” comments Giovanni Mantovani , CEO of VPE and general director of Veronafiere. “In partnership with Bellavita Expo, we are aiming to attract the main players of the ho.re.ca. sector who are increasingly focused on Italian Style. Our objective is to expand our international offer, always in partnership with government organisations, relevant institutions and associations in order to optimise investments, maximise resources and promotional initiatives in support of Italian enterprises”.

“I would like to thank everyone who made this operation possible, in particular our vice president Annalisa Sassi” states Antonio Cellie, CEO of Fiere di Parma . “With her entrepreneurial sensitivity she brought Bellavita London to our attention. After meeting the young team behind the event, we realised there was potential for our businesses to work and develop together. Having Veronafiere and Vinitaly on board perfectly fits in with our internationalisation process, always promoting the real Made in Italy and in conjunction with Federalimentare and ICE.”
