Bellavita Expo, the biggest event for artisan Italian food and beverages outside of Italy, has commissioned the first ever extensive 2018/19 Italian Food Trends report for Bellavita Expo London 2017. The in-depth 194 page report, focusing on UK/USA trends, will be prepared by leading trends agency The Food People who work with an extensive list of respected national and international clients including; Casual Dining Group (inc. Bella Italia), Costa, Donatatonio, Papa Johns, IHG (Intercontinental Hotels, Holiday Inn), Waitrose, Tesco, ASDA, Marks and Spencer, Pret and Bidvest. Summary findings from the study will be given away free exclusively to Bellavita Expo London visitors.
The Food People will embark on a deep dive using their global trends spotting network to identify trends relevant to Italian food and beverage. Utilising their unique menu watching tool to provide food service analysis in the UK, as well as input from their team of contacts across the globe; the report will identify trends in Italian food, wine and coffee, social & cultural trends, health, sharing and regionality and trend life cycles of key Italian ingredients.
The Food People Co-Founder and Director Charles Banks said: “This report is vital for anyone wanting to know exactly what is trending in Italian food and beverage. From old favourites to rising stars, to broader themes such as regionality, provenance and nostalgia; in both food service and retail, and across the globe – if you work in Italian food/beverage, then you need this report!’
The report will be compiled from data gathered by over 1,000 spotters in 33 different countries, a professional network of 500-600 global chefs/restaurants, dedicated quantitative and qualitative analysis of both industry- and public-facing media, as well as social media and analysis of over 30,000 menus in both the UK and USA using menu watching tool.
Summary findings from the study will be given away free exclusively to visitors of the Bellavita Expo in London show.
Bellavita Marketing Director Saul Leese added: “This is the first major Italian food and beverage study of its kind. Many event organisers are guilty of simply asking one or two chefs to talk about trends and use their content as a marketing hook to attract visitors. But here at Bellavita, we want to conduct a study that has real value to the thousands of HORECA visitors that come to our events all over the world. We want buyers to know what is going to be popular over the next two years and arm them with the right information to help them make informed purchasing decisions. The report, which Bellavita is commissioning, costs around 2,995 (GBP) but we are giving it away for free to anyone who wants it at the show. We expect the report to contain some exciting discoveries that could be worth tens of thousands of pounds in the right hands.”
This opportunity is a must-have for any buyers serious about investing with the Italian market. So be sure not to miss out on this exciting study by Register HERE to get your FREE 2018/19 trends report
