Umberto started as a chef in Northern Italy and then he moved to Berlin at 21. Few years later, Umberto emerged as one of the most renowned chefs in Tokyo and London. He then came back to Italy as Executive Chef at Hotel Palace in Milan, Gold Restaurant by Dolce & Gabbana and Hotel de la Ville in Rome. His cuisine is simple, but extremely dynamic and innovative. An internationally renowned chef with a passion for details, Umberto is also a TV star and acclaimed book writer in Italy. Today, he is Chef Patron at T. Bistrot by Vezzoli in Milan, a short walk from Piazza Duomo.
